Here are the 2018 locations for Operation Purple Camps

The National Military Family Association (NMFA) has announced the 2018 locations for their popular Operation Purple Camps. This free week of camp for military kids includes “trained counselors and camp staff experienced in helping children adapt and overcome the stressors of military life.” Dependents from all military branches are welcome Since 2004, NMFA estimates that over 60,000 military kids have participated.

This year, there are 12 Operation Purple Camp locations announced spanning across the US, including Hawaii and Alaska. Each camp location has unique programming with activities like woodworking, rock climbing, and laser tag available.

Registration opens March 5, 2018. Applications will become available and more information about each camp can be found on NMFA’s website.
