On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies claimed their independence from England, which eventually led to the formation of the United States. Today, we can celebrate this freedom with discounts that span a number of products and services.
The following is a list of military discounts offered for Independence Day 2017. Please check back frequently as the list is updated.

Active duty, retired military, veterans and their dependents get free admission to the zoo July 1 through 4.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s military, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Current and past military men and women will be honored with free park admission July 1-4 and can bring up to 6 guests for a discounted price.
Carowinds offers free park admission to any active, inactive or retired service men and women July 3, 4 and 5.
All military members will receive free admission on July 4. Military personnel can also purchase up to six half-price admission tickets for members of their immediate family.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering free admission and discounted Zoombezi Bay admission to military and their immediate family, July 1 through July 7.
Dorney Park in Pennsylvania offers free regular admission to any active or retired military personnel July 1 through 4. Military members can also purchase discount admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six).
Funderland Amusement Park in Sacramento, CA is offering military members, veterans and their families a free day of rides on July 4.
Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park
Active duty and retired military personnel get free admission to Gilroy Gardens July 1-4.
All veterans are eligible for Home Depot’s 10% military discount on July 4 with a DoD-issued ID, a DD214 or a Veterans Driver’s License.
Kings Dominion is offering free admission for active duty military and veterans June 30 through July 4. They are also offering discounted tickets for dependents.
Kings Island is offering active duty military members and veterans free admission July 1 through 4. They are also offering discounted tickets for up to six family members.
Michigan’s Adventure is offering military personnel a free admission July 4. Military personnel may also purchase up to six additional tickets for immediate family members at $26 each.
Veterans and active duty members who visit Mystic Aquarium July 1 through 31 will receive free general admission. Dependent family members receive a discounted admission rate of $20.99 per adult, $15.99 per youth (13-17) and $13.99 per child (3-12).
Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub
All veterans and active duty military receive a free appetizer with any meal on July 4.
Rack Room Shoes offers a 10% military discount off entire purchase with military ID on Independence Day.
Valleyfair is offering free admission during their Military Days July 1 through 4 for active duty military and veterans. Discounted tickets are available for up to six immediate family members.
Active duty, retired military, veterans and National Guard and Reserve receive complimentary admission to Worlds of Fun on July 4. Military personnel can also purchase discounted tickets for their immediate family.
