Annette is a retired army combat veteran, mother of 2 and military spouse of over 24 yrs. Since her retirement, she has uncovered what she has been hiding for the past 40 years. Since she was diagnosed with several mental health challenges, she took to writing to share her story in order to help others who have also been suffering in silence. She is now an accomplished author, international speaker, podcaster, mental health advocate, and mentor. Her mission is to help end the stigma on mental health, stop suicide and leave a legacy for her children. She uses her mess as her message and continues to fight for all those with those invisible wounds.
