He always led by setting the standard advocating “His Sailors didn’t work for him, he worked for his Sailors!” This approach creates a level of loyalty and trust that can be will make any team hum! After retiring, he applied this relationship driven leadership to his Real Estate business, catapulting him to being into the top 1% of Real Estate professionals in the country in just 3 years. He achieved this by simply communicating, nurturing relationships and believing that “If you chase the money, you will never catch it! But if you truly believe in putting your people/clients first, the money will follow!” In addition, he volunteers his time to educating active duty personnel on leadership through the Non-profit Enlisted Leadership Foundation.

After retiring from the Navy in 2016, he built his Real Estate business into one of the top producing Real Estate teams in the Country. His team is unique in that he only hires Military, Veterans and their families, specializing in Military benefits. He is also the VP of Training and Development of Sentry Residential, the first National military centric Real Estate company in the Country. In addition, his civic activities include serving on the on the Board of Directors as VP for the Enlisted Leadership Foundation devoted to teaching leadership to our active duty military. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Veterans Business Action Committee, mentoring aspiring Veteran entrepreneurs and the Veterans Supplemental Support Network, devoted to assisting military families in need. He also helps educate military families as a Contributor for MilitaryTimes.com.
