The Senate confirmed Robert Wilkie to be the next Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Mr. Wilkie previously served as an undersecretary at the Pentagon and is the fourth VA secretary to take on the job in just five years. Secretary Wilkie will work to modernize the organization and overcome all the red tape in the land to give our veterans the services they deserve.
President Trump got into a bit of a Twitter skirmish with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani yesterday. After Rouhani said in an address on Sunday that Americans “must understand that war with Iran is the mother of all wars and peace with Iran is the mother of all peace,” and “do not play with the lion’s tail, because you will regret it eternally,” President Trump took to social media to address Rouhani.
