You might be wondering what a MilSpouseFest event actually is. What exactly happens at our events? What will the day or night be like?
Here is what you need to know about MilSpouseFest:
MilSpouseFest is a free event developed for military spouses, significant others, and other military family members. We have 14 events planned for 2020, starting in San Antonio, heading to Fort Hood, Fort Drum, Virginia, and North Carolina.
MilSpouseFest provides fun activities, conversations about military life, free food, prizes, local resources, and a chance to make new friends. Did I mention prizes???
Yes, we will have giveaways, freebies, and prizes such as gift cards, books, shirts, and other amazing swag from veteran and military spouse owned businesses. You will not go home empty-handed.
MilSpouseFest’s purpose is to provide you, our military spouse friends, with an amazing day or night where you can network for your military life, make new friends, learn about your local area, and find ways to help you grow through your experiences.
MilSpouseFest is not a job fair, although some sponsors could be hiring. It is a time to connect with others, whether you are brand new to the area or have been there a long time. It is a time to learn, whether you are a brand new military spouse or a more seasoned one. We are all about purposefully empowering military spouses by providing information, resources, and community to support them in their everyday lives.
Our team is made up of military spouses, and veterans, just like you. We have lived this life, and know what it can bring. We take our experiences and put them into everything we do, because we want to help you as much as we can.
MilSpouseFest Has Amazing Speakers and Sponsors
Our keynote speakers are handpicked for each location. They are military spouses too, who have been there and have amazing advice to offer us. You will also be able to hear from our sponsors about what they offer the military community.
USAA has been MilSpouseFest’s presenting sponsor since day one. We have a mixture of local and national sponsors to connect you with the resources you need.
When you first walk into MilSpouseFest you will be greeted by our registration table. You can register, grab some coffee, take a picture, and mingle a bit. You can check out the vendors, and then go find your seat.
Even though we have a seated program, you can feel free to walk around, check out the vendors and learn more about what they have to offer, and grab some more coffee. We will have our keynote speaker, listen to some sponsors, and give out some prizes, yes, lots of amazing prizes.
Sign Up For MilSpouseFest
So now that you know more about MilSpouseFest, it is time to sign up!
We will be in San Antonio on March 10th, and then Fort Hood on March 12th. For each location, we will have a day event from 9 am to 2 pm and an evening event from 5:30 pm to 9 pm. That way, you can find a time that works for you. Or…even come to both. Make plans to come and spend the day with us, or grab a friend and come for a night out!
After Texas, we will be at Fort Drum in June, Virginia in September, and North Carolina in November. Then even more locations in 2021.

We understand military life, we have been there, and we get it. We also know how hard it can be to move to a new duty station and not know anyone, or even know what is available to you now that you are there. Coming to MilSpouseFest can get you plugged into your community, help you find people with similar interests, find others who might live near you, and those you can connect with going forward.
