PERFECTION. Oh, that word. So many of us strive for it. I often say that I’m perfect and I get strange looks when I say it.
I’m perfect because I’m ME.
As I work on my Ph.D. from The University of Life, I’ve done a lot of observations that many of us strive for a bit of perfection. It’s not necessarily for ourselves, but to impress others. And that my friend only hurts you.
What is perfection? Who gets to declare what your perfection is or isn’t? Why do we put so much energy into being perfect vs. being ourselves?
Pause, take a look in the mirror. Are you true to you? Are you being you? If you said yes, you’re PERFECT!
Strive to be perfect by being yourself. What will you do to be perfect today?
